Hello Church Family,
Here are some prayer updates as we begin another week Loving God, Loving His Family, and Loving our Neighbors—
Good News—7 people were baptized yesterday! Praise the Lord for working in their lives, and continue to hold them in your prayers. Their names are:
-Lisha Rock, and her 2 Daughters:
-Aiyana Ingram-Conner
-Wynter Simpson
-Beth Rosenberry
-Elijah Shively
-Rachel Shively
-Joe Wenger
More Good News—Pastor Gary was moved out of the ICU last night (but remains in Hershey Medical Center). His family is very thankful for your prayers and thankful to God for this improvement in Gary’s health. Continue to pray for him to recover strength and for his body to adjust to some changes in medications.
Please continue to Pray for Glenda Bistline (my mom) who is having back surgery today. She had also been in the hospital over the weekend due to some issues with potassium and blood pressure related to changes in her medication ahead of the surgery. We praise the Lord that she was able to go home yesterday, and is able to proceed with this surgery as originally planned.
Please add Cathy Coy to your prayer lists. She will be having Eye Surgery on October 7th and has a pre-surgery visit today. She would like prayers for peace throughout this process, and restoration of her vision.
How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices;
together they shout for joy.
When the Lord returns to Zion,
they will see it with their own eyes.
--Isaiah 52:7-8
Have a great week,
