Hello Church Family,
Here’s a special message from our church office about the upcoming changes to our database & directory tools:
Many of you have been using the “Instant Church Directory” app on your phones for the past few years, however, our subscription to that service is ending on November 1.
We encourage you to be part of the new Church Directory which will be in Church Center. The new directory will allow you to update your contact info anytime you need to and it allows you to choose what information to share in the directory. Please download the Church Center app to your phone. You can find it in the app store on most devices. You can also access Church Center on the web from a home desktop or laptop computer. After your log-in profile is created, you will be able to receive access to the directory. If you need help with this, please reach out to us (we’ve helped some members do this) – it only takes 5 minutes!
Church Center is a comprehensive program. In addition to providing a church directory, it allows children, youth and volunteers to check in, enables volunteers to view calendars and receive reminders about when they are scheduled to serve and if they have overlapping commitments, and it allows for online giving, and many other record keeping tasks. Having a program that incorporates all these elements in one place will be extremely helpful for years to come. We encourage you to sign up now while we are all together in figuring out how it works!
Thanks!
Deb

After we get used to these changes together, having all of these tools and resources now in one place will help us to be more orderly and streamlined with many important ministry tasks, and it also helps us to be good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us!
And remember, the old “Instant Church Directory” app will no longer be supported after November 1!
