Dear Family,
Please be in prayer for Carol Schue’s brother, Darwin Haines, and his family. Darwin is in his last stage in his battle with cancer. He is experiencing considerable pain and hospice is ministering to him. Darwin’s wife, Nancy, is in a nursing home/rehabilitation facility, and they are not able to be geographically together. Darwin and Nancy’s daughter, Amanda, and her husband Nate, and Carol and Lindsey have been providing care and oversight for both of them for some time. Carol asked that we would pray for Darwin to be released from pain and for strength and perseverance for the family.
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31
