SFCOG Prayer Updates

Hello SFCOG,

Please join me in prayer for the following people and families:

John C. Powell passed away on December 30th. John was a member of SFCOG Since he was 8 years old. Please remember his Sisters and Brother (Linda Klein, Patricia McClure, and Richard Powell), and all of his family in prayer. He is now reunited with his wife, Denise, in heaven. Funeral details are as follows, and more information can be found at the link below:

John's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Matthew Tosten will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning at the funeral home.
Mic Martin requests prayer for his Brother, Kenneth, who is facing Pneumonia in Florida.

Judy Baer would also like to be held in your prayers as she continues to recover, following some health concerns.

We can praise the Lord together as Pastor Gary has begun to recover and return to participating more directly with ministry activities here at church! Please continue to hold him in prayer as he still has to face some more procedures in the future, but he says he is greatly encouraged and is definitely experiencing some healing.

"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬-‭16‬

Joining you in Prayer,
Pastor Rodney
