Listen to Obituary

Donna L. (Gephart) Rebuck, 86, of Shippensburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, September 12, at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. Born October 13, 1939, in Southampton Township, Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Coleman Gephart and a 1957 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School.

Donna worked as a secretary at Domestic Pump & Manufacturing and retired in 1997 after a 30-year career at Ezra Lehman Memorial Library, Shippensburg University. A faithful member of Shippensburg First Church of God, she taught children’s Sunday school for 50 years.

She was known for her kindness, creativity, and beautiful artwork—decorative pieces, watercolors, and acrylic paintings. Donna cherished time with her grandchildren, especially family vacations to North Myrtle Beach, and delighted in the hugs of her great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clarence C. Rebuck, who passed away June 24, 2023, as well as two sisters, Verneda Krueger and Miriam Higgins, and one brother, Ralph Gephart.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Michael) Gutshall of Newville, Bonnie (Philip) Myers of Shippensburg, four grandchildren, Scott (Stacy) Gutshall, Pamela (John) Martz III, Daniel Myers, Dustin (Kristie) Myers, and seven great grandchildren, Claire, Penelope, Alexandria, Kaia, Deacon, Evelynn and Kiarra, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Shippensburg First Church of God with Pastor Rodney Bistline officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg.
