Please pray for continued healing and strengthening for Paul Gsell.  He is to be transferred from the hospital to a rehabilitation center in the next couple of days.  Pray for healing for Lisa Murphy who is dealing with back pain.

 

Please be praying for our community and those who are bravely and tirelessly fighting the fires.  May God work miraculously as we trust Him!  Our God is able.

 

Margie Shoap’s Celebration of Life Service will be in our church on Friday, May 2 at 11:00 with visitation at 10:00.

Please be in prayer for Margie Shoap’s family.  Last evening God called Margie to Himself to her eternal home.  Margie was a beautiful woman of God who loved people, was a faithful prayer warrior, and was very generous in many ways.  She will be greatly missed.

Dear Family,

Glenda Bistline received an injection on Monday to help alleviate pain and discomfort.

 

Mike Rhodes as he leads 100 men in numerous different Men’s Alliance Tribes through a six-week “Carry the Fire” apologetics training.  Chris Adams, Connor Erickson, David Hill, and Matt Hower are some of the men from the Keel Tribe who are participating. This will culminate with a weekend outing in early June.

 

Tiffany Roth is recovering from cancer surgery yesterday.  She will be undergoing radiation in the near future.  Tiffany has two children in our Crossing Youth Group.

 

Margie Shoap was taken to the hospital yesterday.

Dear Family,

Jay Clouse who is in the hospital.

 

Raynold Dorcelus (our Haitian friend who brought people from his church for Baptism last month) who is dealing with health issues.

 

and the family of Martha Kelley.  Martha passed away yesterday.  Martha’s services are at Fogelsanger-Bricker-Funeral Home.  Her viewing is Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 and Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00.  Her Celebration of Life Service is Saturday at 10:00.

 

Reminders…

No Community Night tomorrow evening.

 

Our Maundy Thursday Service is 6:30 in the Sanctuary.  We will worship our Savior through song, His Word, feet-washing and communion.  We will be receiving a free-will offering following the service for anyone who wishes to contribute to the Beneficent Fund which helps meet the needs of those in our church and community.

I received the following text from Bernie Eiswert concerning his sister, Kathy’s, surgery today, “surgery was more involved than they thought, but surgeon doesn't expect complications. Praise and thanks to God, and thank you to our entire church family for all their prayers.”

Praises and Prayer Request

Dear Family,

 

We are praising God for an encouraging and uplifting experience that Pastor Rodney, Joyce Hornbaker, Liam O’Hagen, Troy Shively, myself and many others participated in at the annual Eastern Regional Conference these past two days at Camp Yolijwa. 

 

I am grateful for the fifteen church members who attended Reggie MeNeal’s “Resilience in Leadership” Seminar Sunday evening.  Pray that we apply in our personal life the things we learned and that we would lead well those that God has placed around us.

 

Praise God for carrying Mark Zimmerman, Mike Gutshall’s nephew, through yet another surgery.  Please pray for complete healing and recovery for him in this hard journey.

 

Thank for celebrating what God is doing and for God’s touch upon each of us according to our need.
