Praise the Lord!

Dear Family,

We praise God for the birth of Isaiah Saylor to Deb and Cory Saylor.  Everyone is doing well.  Pray for them as they adjust to being a family of four!

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.  Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.  In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for He grants sleep to those He loves.  Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.  Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.  Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.  They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.”  Psalm 127

SFCOG prayer update

Hello Church Family,

Here are a few new matters of prayer:

Neil Negley, Dustin Negley's father, was in a motorcycle accident on Monday morning and taken to Holy Spirit Hospital. He was transferred out of ICU yesterday and is recovering from multiple injuries. Dustin shared that God was evident in this entire situation in so many ways—Praise God for his goodness! Also prayers for healing and recovery for Neil are appreciated.

Please remember Jonathan Scott and his family in your prayers. Jon's grandmother (on his mother's side) passed away this week.

Pray for our youth group tonight as they celebrate "Friendsgiving" with a meal and a time of celebrating God's Goodness! The students have been inviting their friends and a large group are expected!

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."

‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬

Thank you for supporting one another through your prayers,

Pastor Rodney
